Still knitting

Even though I knit every day, I’ve been a slacker when it came to taking photos. So, I have some catching up to do.

This is a baby afghan for a neighbor’s first great-granddaughter (she is SO excited!).

I finished this vest for my hubby at the end of our cold weather. He wore it only two or three times, but it’ll be there for next winter.

Then I made two pairs of fingerless gloves, in silvery gray and eggplant. I’m planning to do a church bazaar next fall.

Baby afghan for Lena

This a a shower gift for a baby girl whose name will be Lena. The color is called “Silly Sprite” (Loops & Threads “Snuggly Wuggly” yarn). I love the color!

Starting a Blog to Showcase My Creations

This is my new blog to showcase my knitting, and this is my first post. I hope you enjoy seeing my creations.

I made this yellow baby afghan with a knitted “castle” for a shower gift. The new mother loved its uniqueness.

Knit Castle Pattern

It is knit of washable acrylic yarn and measures about 24 by 36 inches.
