Charity knitting

IMG_4587 (2) Since fall is here, it’s time to send my box of knitted items to the shelter for battered and homeless women and their children in Illinois. This year’s contribution includes two scarves, eight adult caps, two child caps, and a small pair of mittens.

  1. Nice to know someone who also does charity knitting 🙂

  2. Thanks. What charity do you knit for? I’ve been sending things to the women’s shelter for about five years, and in the past I’ve donated caps for babies and hats and mittens to the Salvation Army, which gave them out free to homeless people in Amarillo, Texas (when I lived there).
